Paid Professional Learning for Social Studies Teachers Grades 4-8
We the People: Civics that Empowers All Students is a federally funded project that supports effective educator development through the Center for Civic Education flagship curricular program: We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution. This opportunity is for educators who teach social studies grades 4-8 who are new to the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution curricular program and professional learning. Open to teachers in all states.

First-Timer Scholarship Applications Due This Friday, September 5, 2025
This week is your final opportunity to apply for a NCSS first-timer scholarships, with the submission portal closing September 5, 2025. Created for early and mid-career educators from diverse ethnic groups, especially historically marginalized communities and/or those who teach in economically disadvantaged school districts, this scholarship covers the registration fee for the 105th NCSS Annual Conference in Washington, DC (December 5-7, 2025), and a one-year regular membership in NCSS.
